About

My name is Alejandro López McCormick. I'm an audio producer and game developer based in Colombia. I love working in all areas of game development, and I'm mainly focused in the field of audio production. This holistic approach allows me to understand a game's audio needs, so I create purposeful and high quality assets!

I majored in Music with an emphasis in Audio Production in one of the top universities in Colombia (Universidad de los Andes), learned coding in Unity and completed an associate programmer level certification, and have recently finished a Game Audio Design and Production professional certificate from Berklee Online.

My Sound Design

Big Boy Boxing Gameplay Trailer SFX Redesign

Sound Redesign

Redesigned gameplay sound effects and ambiences from Soupmaster Games' Big Boy Boxing. Created sounds with retro synths, as well as slap-stick, cartoony source sounds.

Alien Isolation "No Escape" Trailer Sound Redesign

Sound Redesign

Redesigned the sound from the gameplay trailer no escape from Alien Isolation by Creative Assembly.

Interactive Spaceship Sound System​

Sound Design, Music, FMOD creation

Created an interactive sound system for a non-existent spaceship game, in which the soundscape dynamically changes according to certain parameters in a natural and immersive way.

Abyss Watchers Redesign

Sound Redesign

Took a short battle scene from Dark Soul 3's Abyss Watchers and replaced the sound effects from the scene with my own sound redesign.

The Last of Us Redesign

Sound Redesign

Took a short scene from The Last of Us and redesigned the sound, focusing mainly on ambience sound and foley.

Wild West Themed Project

Sound Design, Music, FMOD implementation

Took a basic roller-ball project during a course and created an interactive sound system through the use of FMOD.

Stealth Game Tutorial Project

Sound Design, Music, Unity Implementation

Took a stealth game tutorial project in Unity and replaced all of the base audio with my own work (except for the "come here" VA). Created a horizontal music system between "undetected" and "detected" states.
